Swissport International Ltd. has signed a contract with “Service-VS”, the ground handling operator at Vnukovo Airport. The contract paves the way for Swissport International to start operations in the Russian Federation. The cooperation partners signed the agreement during a press conference that took place at Vnukovo Airport on 16th May 2013.
With the signing of the contract, Swissport and Service-VS have officially started their cooperation for all ground handling services at Vnukovo Airport. As part of the joint agreement, Swissport will implement its globally proven and standardized processes for increased quality and safety of services. The cooperation does not only include the support of Vnukovo Airport with its existing customer base, but also embraces development plans for the future, targeted at increasing the international customer portfolio. The cooperation between Swissport International and Service-VS at Vnukovo Airport will meet the growing needs of airlines in compliance with IATA and leading alliances standards.
