Singapore's Changi Airport Group and Polar Air Cargo have confirmed their support for the Air Cargo & Logistics Asia 2013 (ACL Asia 2013) Conference & Exhibition by signing up as respectively the host of the ACL Asia 2013 Welcome Dinner and the Welcome Cocktail Reception, which will take place on October 16, 2013.
In addition to its sponsorship, the Changi Airport Group in cooperation with the Supply Chain Asia organisation, will be co-organising two Round Table Discussions on October 16. The sessions will cover transport and supply chain issues facing the perishable and pharmaceutical industry.
The Welcome Reception for ACL Asia 2013 will be a "by invitation only" event for delegates and exhibitors attending ACLA 2013, as well as a significant group of senior logistics managers of manufacturers involved in electronics, pharmaceuticals and perishable products, which traditionally use air freight for the shipments of their exports.
ACL Asia delegates will include shippers, airlines, airports, E-commerce portals, postal organisations, logistics providers, charter and ACMI operators, ground handling companies, freight forwarders, express companies and integrators.
"We are delighted with the decision by Changi Airport Group and Polar Air Cargo to join ACL Asia 2013, which is becoming a "must attend" event for a large number of leading players in the air cargo, logistics and e-Commerce industry," event organiser Nol van Fenema said.
In addition to Changi Airport Group and Polar Air Cargo, ACL Asia in recent weeks has also signed up market leaders Nordisk Aviation Products and Swissport as exhibitors for the Air Cargo & Logistics Asia 2013 Exhibition in Singapore on October 16-18, 2013.
