On July, 10th in the port of Illichivsk was hold the presentation of a container train «Illichyovets» with routing Illichivsk – Kiev – Illlichivsk - the joint project of the transport-forwarding company «Levada Cargo», « Container Terminal Ilyichevsk» and USCTS «LISKI». Departure of the first container train is planned for July, 24th, 2013.
Representatives of the forwarding companies and the leading container lines working in the port of Illichivsk have taken part in the event.
The new container train represents 33 units of 80 foot platforms. The rolling stock, a motor pool and terminal capacities for this project are provided by the Ukrainian State Center of Transport Service «LISKI». The transport-forwarding company «Levada Cargo » acts as the operator of the train.
«The operator will incur all administrative and financial risks, and is in charge of the railway for quality of transportations by own means », - Helena Borisova, director-general of the company «Levada Cargo » specifies.
Moreover, as she said, the throughput of the port of Illichivsk is one of the highest in Ukraine, as has predetermined a choice of check-out station of «Illichyovets».
Among the basic dignity of the train – depreciation of delivery of cargoes on the direction in comparison with transportations by motor transport on 15-30 % .Organizers will provide special conditions for storage of empty containers on the terminal Kiev-LISKI with special conditions for navigable lines.
The main feature of the project is that «Illichyovets» will go strictly under the schedule, irrespective of loading. The schedule of the train is approached to the schedule of navigable lines.
«It is planned, that the container train will go on a regular basis, without dependence from a season. In turn, the experts of our terminal will make all possible to provide the accelerated registration of a cargo », - Andrey Pavlyutin, the associate director on commercial work КТ "Illichivsk" has emphasized.
13 hours - is transit time of the train. Also it is established the train schedule.
