DHL Supply Chain is to appoint Oscar de Bok as its chief executive officer for Asia-Pacific contract logistics extending from south and east Asia, as well as north Asia and the South Pacific from June 1, according to Shipping Gazette.
Mr de Bok will fill the position vacated by Paul Graham who will transfer to Bonn to become divisional chief operating officer and CEO for mainland Europe, Middle East & Africa.
He will be accountable for driving continued profitable growth, delivery of operations and providing leadership to the 44,000 employees across 12 countries in the region.
He brings 25 years of logistics experience during which time he has held leadership roles in DHL as senior vice president, business development of Asia Pacific; and managing director for Italy and the Nordic and Baltic Region.
Said Mr de Bok: "I am honoured to step into this role, taking over the dynamic and fast moving Asia Pacific region at this important stage of development.
Said Mr Graham: "It's been a great privilege to lead the Supply Chain business in this region and I am confident the organisation will capitalise on new opportunities to accelerate growth."
