AA Cargo to fly to Dublin, Chicago, Charlotte, Philadelphia, NYC

American Airlines Cargo has announced that over the summer it will fly non-stop from Dublin to Chicago, Charlotte, Philadelphia and New York. From Shannon, AA Cargo offers direct service to Philadelphia, according to Shipping Gazette.
The cargo services will operate between Dublin and Chicago, Philadelphia and Charlotte from now until the end of October.
An Airbus A330-200, with a 15,000-kilogramme payload will be deployed. Operating a Boeing 757, Dublin to JFK flights run to the end of October while Shannon to Philadelphia service operates until the end of September.
With morning departures out of Dublin and Shannon, shipments moved out of Ireland will all arrive in the US before early afternoon on the same working day, a statement from the carrier said.
"We've already seen a dramatic increase in demand for temperature-controlled products since the launch of Expedited," said American's GSA IAM managing director Ian McCoy.
"Then, with the opening of the airline's state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility in Philadelphia last year, there has been an even greater requirement for such services," said Mr McCoy.
At Dublin, American also has access to new temperature-controlled areas at one of the most modern facilities in Ireland.
Said AA Cargo regional sales manager Andy Cornwell: "The movement of time-sensitive products for the pharmaceutical industry in Ireland, combined with the correct facilities to handle them, are an expanding part of our business.
