Maersk says it will stop using CO2-emitting fossil fuels in 31 years

Maersk, the world's biggest shipping concern, has announced its intention to achieve carbon neutrality 2050 - in 31 years, according to Shipping Gazette.
With this goal, the company will have to transform operations starting at the supply chain level, it said.
Maersk will leverage the expertise of researchers, technology developers, investors, cargo owners and legislators as they move towards this goal, the company said. Shipping and vessels will be the primary focus."The only possible way to achieve the so-much-needed decarbonisation in our industry is by fully transforming to new carbon neutral fuels and supply chains," said chief operating officer at Maersk Group Soren Toft.moody's downgrades Maersk.
