Boxes handled by the other terminals in Hong Kong took a dive by falling 11.7 per cent to 360,000 TEU compared to 408,000 TEU in November 2017.
In the first 11 months of this year, the port handled a total of 17.96 million TEU, down 5.4 per cent over the same period last year. The 11-month volume at Kwai Tsing terminals came up to 14.16 million TEU, a decrease of 4.9 per cent year on year, while throughput for non-Kwai Tsing terminals was at 3.8 million TEU, down 7.9 per cent.
