The philosophy of BRC Ltd, a branch of the Hansa Capital financial group, is selling the vehicles of a profitable leasing conditions, i.e. those of the age not exceeding seven-ten years by the leasing expiration. Customers of the neighbouring countries are also enjoying the BRC services, including Russia where trucks are just as popular as passenger vehicles. At the moment, the share of sales volumes to Russian customers is not large. However, the strategy of the group anticipates active development of co-operation with Russian clients, both individuals and transport companies. In general, mostly trucks are sold abroad, apparently due to the activity of the sales team, good offer and, possibly, demand. What gave rise to an interest towards activities and contacts establishing in Russian, CIS, and markets of the eastern states? – Demand and supply are interrelated in the market. The clients' interest in the market increases its attractiveness, – explains Guntars Kniksts – accordingly, an intent to work with the Russian market appeared at the moment when first potential customers from Russia turned to BRC, and the first deals were concluded. For the time being, the stable interest towards BRC activity and its offers on trucks comes from Russian transport companies. The western partners of BRC Ltd, suppliers from Netherlands and Denmark, are also considering upon the Russian, CIS and the Central Asian directions, though their present market is rather large already. They regard BRC Ltd as an intermediary facilitating their way to the client. Therefore, west European suppliers came up with a proposal to do the market research of the eastern region. The general strategy of the Hansa Capital group, owners of the BRC Ltd, supposes gradual return to the eastern market, since there had been a representation of Hansa leasing in Moscow a few years ago, but its activities were terminated due to unstable general economic situation in Russia. However, recently Hansa Capital and Hansa Banka have taken first steps to establish vital contacts with this region. Thus, a decision to set strategic representatives of BRC in St. Petersburg was made. They will operate information on demand and supply in the sphere of commercial and passenger vehicles.

Why does BRC prefer making complex offers of a passenger and commercial vehicles? One tends to think small amongst small. When looking for a passenger car, visitor automatically pays attention to the truck and vice versa. Why is it convenient to buy a vehicle in BRC Ltd?
