ECUhold N.V., the Antwerp based Belgian Multinational NVOCC, and a 100% subsidiary of Mumbai based Indian logistics company Allcargo Global Logistics Limited, announced its new top management structure recently. Raymond Van Achteren has now been appointed on the board of Allcargo Global Logistics Limited. He will also continue on the board of Ecuhold NV and shall focus on the company’s Airfreight business and other new business initiatives.
ECUhold N.V. is the holding company of Ecu-Line’s business with over 100 offices in 56 countries across the world.
Kris De Witte who is based in Miami, USA and Marc Stoffelen who is based in Antwerp, have both been promoted as Jt. CEO for the ECU Group’s global business. They will jointly drive the company’s future growth.
Speaking to the press, Mr. Shashi Kiran Shetty, Chairman of Ecuhold and Chairman and Managing Director of Allcargo Global said “Raymond has played a visionary role in building the ECU Group and we would like to have his experience and guidance with us in Allcargo as well”
After a record performance in 2006, the Ecuhold board met recently in Antwerp to plan its growth strategies for the future. “The restructuring of the top management team was done keeping the new initiatives and focus areas in mind. Kris and Marc have a stellar track record with the company. Their competence, experience, youth and drive will take the group to the next level” he said.
