ZIM Integrated Shipping Services (India) Pvt. Ltd, a major main line operator (MLO), has opened its own office here on February 28.
Mr Parthasarathi Sengupta, Owner’s Representative of Zim India, told Exim India, at the simple inaugural function, that the company had been already operating in this area through agents for several years.
He pointed out that seeing the growing needs of the area, the services were being upgraded by opening its own office.
Mr Somnath Basu, Manager (Marketing), and Mr Krishna, Manager, Vizag branch of Zim, were present at the function. Important representatives of Visakhapatnam MLOs and CFSs also graced it.
