TACA to raise Bunker Adjustment Factor

The Trans-Atlantic Conference Agreement (TACA) issued a press release on Monday, September 10, 2007 announcing that its member carriers will maintain their September 16 - October 15 Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF), effective October 16, 2007.
"Based upon the latest monitoring of fuel prices, TACA's Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF), applicable for the period September 16th - October 15th, 2007 will be held unchanged for a further period of thirty days, through, at least, November 15th, 2007, at the following levels:" TACA stated in the release.
 "Traffic to/from and via:

 "Atlantic/Gulf Coast Ports:

    - "$ 607 per 20ft container
    - "$ 1214 per 40/45ft container
    - "WM $ 61.00


 "Pacific Coast Ports:

    - "$ 911 per 20ft container
    - "$ 1822 per 40/45ft container
    - "WM $ 91.00"
