The shareholder-elected Council of airBaltic met on September 21 to elect Mats Jansson as chairman of the Council.
Mats has been president and CEO of the SAS Group since January 1, 2007. Previously he had run companies such as Axel Johnson AB, Axfood and the Fazer Group.
Until September 21 duties of the Council chairman were carried out by Gunnar Reitan. Members of the Council now include Mats Jansson (chairman), Lars Lindgren, Benny Zakrisson, Inga Pelsa, Arnis Muiznieks, Edmunds Krastins and Krisjanis Peters.
