The
German capital has a colourful and varied schedule of events in store for the
FRUIT LOGISTICA Berlin (7-9 February), many of which will continue well into the
evening, long after the trade fair has closed for the day. Berlin’s unique
atmosphere boasts a wide range of cultural and entertainment alternatives which
are the perfect complement to a visit to the world’s leading fruit industry
trade fair. You will find Berlin to be a cosmopolitan metropolis, with inner
city department stores and businesses remaining open until 10 pm. In addition,
the Berlinale, one of the international film industry’s most important events,
takes place at the same time as the FRUIT LOGISTICA (7-17 February).
Berlin’s attractive day and
night-time programme with more than 6,000 restaurants, bars and clubs ensures
that any visit to Berlin will be one to remember. Entertainment, sports,
shopping, culture: There is always something happening in Berlin. If you are
looking to round off the evening with that special musical or cultural touch,
there are three opera houses and more than 150 theatres and stages to choose
from. You may like to attend the fast-paced and energetic show “Wine, Women &
Song” at star restaurateur Hans-Peter Wodarz’ restaurant-cum-theatre Palazzo,
for instance, or to marvel at “Spectacular Revue Highlights” at the
Friedrichstadtpalast.
