NYK Logistics new service provider for Intratuin

On January 1st 2008 NYK Logistics (Nederland) started the logistics operation for Intratuin Trade & Logistics BV, with 6.000 m² of storage, employment for 10 Full Time Equivalents and the management of Intratuin’s entire supply chain.
With this collaboration, Intratuin has entrusted its logistics activities for Folder- and promotional material to NYK Logistics. Goods arriving from the Far East (mainly China, India and Indonesia) are custom cleared and brought to the NYK warehouse in Ridderkerk. Goods from suppliers in The Netherlands are directly delivered to
NYK. All items are despatched to the 58 garden centres in the Netherlands and Belgium via a semi-cross dock operation where NYK sorts, consolidates and distributes the products.
