Hamburg Süd and Hapag-Lloyd restructuring EPIC service
The shipping companies Hamburg Süd and Hapag-Lloyd are restructuring the EPIC service between Europe and the Middle East/India.
The two lines will be deploying six 4,000 TEU vessels with a weekly frequency in this trade, with Hapag-Lloyd providing four of them and Hamburg Süd two units. The ships each have
a capacity of 400 reefer plugs. The first sailing is planned for the beginning of May.
