Evergreen Line is launching its new regional service to cover Italian Tyrrhenian Ports, Tunis and Libya, via its
Mediterranean hub port of Taranto.  With this new service, Evergreen is able to add these ports to its direct global coverage. 
The 612TEU vessel, Reecon Eagle, is starting on March 4, 2008 from Taranto to operate the ten-day rotation as follows: 
Taranto – Civitavecchia – La Spezia – Tunis – Misratah – Taranto 
The company’s spokesman says:  
“This new feeder service is providing customers with greater capacity, improving operation efficiency
and schedule integrity; moreover, it is helping to create a win-win situation for both shippers and the
carrier to seize new business opportunities in Tyrrhenian and North Africa areas.”
