Dongfeng Nissan to launch four new models
Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Co. plans to launch four new models and to increase its total sales volume by 34 percent to 345,000 units in 2008, Automotive News China reported.
"Dongfeng Nissan will significantly adjust product strategy this year, to build up the company's competitiveness in crossover, SUV and MPV segments," says Ren Yong, deputy general manager of Dongfeng Nissan, at a press conference last week in Guangzhou.
The four new models to hit the China market this year include a redesigned version of the Teana sedan and the Qashqai SUV. The company has yet to disclose the other two new models it plans to launch this year.
Dongfeng Nissan sold 271,915 cars last year, up 34 percent year on year.
