inlays for the transportation industry at Intertraffic in Amsterdam from April 1st - 4th 2008.
The company’s high and ultra high frequency passive inlays, suitable for a wide range of ticketing applications and secure vehicle identification at high speeds, are ideal for the transportation infrastructure, traffic
management, vehicle security and parking sectors.
With a variety of antenna sizes combined with the availability of ISO14443, ISO15693 and ISO18000 chip types, KSW meets all the needs for transportation tickets. KSW Microtec will also introduce its WindSpeed® family of windshield inlays. Users benefit from more accurate vehicle identification and more convenient, efficient and secure access of identified vehicles into a variety of
locations and premises. The WindSpeed® inlays are ideal for high-speed access to corporate parking lots, high security commercial and industrial areas or gated residential communities. Further applications for WindSpeed®
inlays are the control of entry and exit gates to automotive services such as toll stations, car rental parks or car washes. WindSpeed® inlays are easily attached behind the glass without the need for special mounting
material and thus prevent the label from being exposed to harsh weather conditions and manipulation by unauthorized people. The WindSpeed® family of inlays offers a wide UHF bandwidth – from 868MHz to 915MHz – and is based on passive RFID technology. KSW’s labels ensure a long reading distance of approximately 5.5 meters at a more reasonable cost compared to the active transponders commonly used.
