The China Regional Airport Conference 2008 will be hosted by the China Civil Airports Association (CCAA) and the Sichuan Provincial Government on the 20th &21st of May, 2008 in Chengdu, Sichuan. The theme of this event is “Optimizing Airports’ Management & Operations with Innovative Strategies” and will deliver critical issues on airport operations strategies, future growth opportunities and global cooperation.
This event will bring together more than 200 aviation industry players worldwide and high level
speakers from China, the rest of Asia, the U.S, and Europe. The participation of the
Manchester Airport Group, the Schiphol Group and the Forum of the European Regional
Airports (representing 30 regional airports in Europe) signifies the strong support from the EU,
which is in line with the Central Government’s views to strengthen cooperation between
Europe and China in the area of airport development and management. Senior executives
from Pittsburgh Airport, Hongkong Zhuhai Management, Asian Development Bank, Inner
Mongolia Airport Group, Sichuan Airport Group, Chongqing Airport Group, Shenyang Taoxian
International Airport, and Nanjing Lukou International Airport will also give excellent
