CEVA Logistics, one of the leading supply chain companies in the world, announced that it has further strengthened its relations with Numil, producer of baby food and medical nutrition, by signing a multi-year contract in Turkey. Numil Turkey is a business unit of Groupe Danone, which recently acquired its former parent company Numico. As a Fortune 500 business and one of the most successful food companies in the world, Groupe DANONE enjoys leading positions in four businesses: fresh dairy products, water, baby nutrition and medical nutrition. The agreement builds on the existing relationship between CEVA Logistics and Numico in the

CEVA Turkey will manage and execute the bonded (warehouse used for the storage of goods until
duties or taxes are paid and they are released by customs) and non-bonded warehousing perform
value added services and parcel distribution to key accounts. CEVA will provide these services from a
new 14.000 square-meter multi-user site in Istanbul.
In Turkey, Numil offers a wide range of high-quality baby foods and specialized medical nutrition
products. Özer Bener, Managing Director of Numil Turkey says that “Turkey is an important emerging
market for our future growth. Throughout the tender process and during implementation, CEVA has
demonstrated to be very flexible in realizing solutions fitting our needs and ensuring continuity of the
business. We believe that we have selected a partner that is fit to grow with us in the coming years.”
Aslan Uzun, Managing Director of CEVA Logistics Turkey commented: "We are delighted to further
expand on our relationship with Numico. I am confident that CEVA can help Numil Turkey in delivering
the flexibility that they need for their ambitious growth by using our global know-how and experience in
both warehousing operations and the Retail & Consumer Goods sector. Simon Ris, Key Account
Manager of CEVA Logistics Benelux, where global account planning with Numico Head Office takes
place, adds that “We experience a strong ‘cultural fit’ between CEVA and Numico. This takes our
relationship to a next level and supports our efforts to deliver operational excellence, flexibility and
continuous improvement for Numico”.
