On the occasion of 18th BSEC Council meeting, IRU President, Janusz Lacny, addressed Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organisation (BSEC), highlighting the “successful public-private partnership between the BSEC Council and the IRU to further develop, facilitate and secure road transport in the BSEC region.”
BSEC Ministers of Foreign Affairs adopted the Kiev Declaration, calling upon BSEC Member States to take practical measures to implement the BSEC Memorandum of Understanding on the Facilitation of Road Transport of Goods as an essential tool for the coordinated development of road transport and trade in the BSEC region. Ministers also commended IRU’s valuable contribution to the development of the transport industry in the BSEC Region.
