TNT N.V. today announced its intention to issue a benchmark Eurobond. The intended offering in the Eurobond market of a benchmark-size Sterling denominated issue with an intermediate duration is expected to take place shortly, subject to market conditions. The bonds will only be offered to institutional investors outside the United States in reliance on Regulation S under the US Securities Act of 1933, and are expected to be listed on Euronext Amsterdam by NYSE Euronext.
The proceeds of the transaction will be used for general business purposes.
