Based on customer demand and the positive development of the company’s Jordan service, in place since March 2005, as well as its satisfactory Central Asian and Asian flight development, Cargolux will add the following two regular flights to its global network:
Starting on 12 August, 2008, CV 7982 will be operated every Tuesday from Luxembourg at 09.55 p.m. to Amman/Jordan, with arrival in Jordan’s capital at 03.10 a.m. on Wednesday, from where the flight departs at 04.40 a.m. for Baku/Azerbaijan, with arrival at 09.20 a.m. Departure from Baku is at 10.50 a.m. for Shanghai/China where the aircraft arrives at 09.45 p.m., returning as CV 7993 on Wednesday evening at 11.55 p.m. via Baku to the company’s head office in Luxembourg, with arrival at 08.30 a.m. on Thursday morning.
Out of Luxembourg, Cargolux now offers three frequencies to Amman, operated on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday, while Baku and Shanghai are served on a daily basis.
The second flight, CV 7323, to be added on 13 August, 2008, will be operated out of Luxembourg every Wednesday at 10.55 a.m., and is routed Luxemoburg - Baku – Bangkok – Hong Kong. Arrival in Baku is at 06.25 p.m., before departing at 07.25 p.m. for Bangkok with arrival at 04.35 a.m. on Thursday morning. Departure from Bangkok is at 06.10 a.m., with flight arrival in Hong Kong at 09.40 a.m. The return flight, CV 7334, is on Thursday at 11.40 a.m. via Baku to Luxembourg where the aircraft arrives at 07.55 p.m. same evening.
With this additional flight Cargolux also ensures daily services to those destinations, supporting valuable customers’ business both ends, and strengthening local economies.
