Road transport development as top priority

After assuming the Chairmanship of the Organisation of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) on 1 November, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, unveiled his priorities for the next six months at a special meeting attended by representatives of the BSEC Member States, observer countries, BSEC related bodies and the IRU.
Declaring that the development of cooperation in road transport will be his top priority, Minister Nalbandian said: “The accomplishment of the MoU on Facilitation of Road Transport of Goods in the BSEC region remains a priority item on the Organisation’s transport cooperation and the Armenian Chairmanship urges all Member States to join the Agreement on Simplification of Visa Procedures for Professional Lorry Drivers”.
