Deutsche Bahn (DB) of Germany sees a difficult business year 2009,
mainly in the field of cargo transports by trains, following the 6.8%
rise in group turnover to EUR 33.45bn (USD 44.11bn) and the 4.8%
increase in adjusted EBIT to EUR 2.48bn in 2008.

indebtedness improved by 3.5% to EUR 15.94bn at the end of 2008. Gross
