Lufthansa Cargo Group out in force at transport logistic 2009


The companies in the Lufthansa Cargo Group are showcasing their products and services jointly at transport logistic in Munich, the world biggest logistics, telematics and transport exhibition from 12 to 15 May 2009. On display at the exhibition are future technologies, industry trends and new growth markets. At their joint booth in Munich, Lufthansa Cargo, Swiss WorldCargo, Lufthansa Cargo Charter Agency and time:matters are parading an array of transport solutions offered by the Group to their international airfreight customers.
Chairman Carsten Spohr and Executive Board Member Product and Sales Dr. Andreas Otto, will
be available at the concomitant Air Cargo Europe conference 2009 and at the exhibition booth
for talks with media representatives and customers. Also at the exhibition to meet the press and
clients are Oliver Evans, Chief Cargo Officer of Swiss WorldCargo, Christian Fink, General
Manager of the Lufthansa Cargo Charter Agency, Kay Kratky, General Manager Jade Cargo
International and Franz-Joseph Miller, CEO of time:matters.
The transport solutions offered by the Lufthansa Cargo Group are available in a global route
network served by the cargo carriers - Lufthansa Cargo, Swiss WorldCargo and Jade Cargo
International. Lufthansa Cargo ranks among the world􀁧s leading cargo carriers. In the 2008
financial year, the airline transported around 1.7 million tonnes of freight and mail and clocked
up 8.3 billion revenue tonne-kilometres.
Its services portfolio is ideally augmented by the capacities and products laid on by Swiss
WorldCargo. The Swiss subsidiary focuses on serving care-intensive niche markets in a global
network stretching to 150 destinations in more than 80 countries. The Group also includes a
