Kongsberg Automotive, a diversified automotive supplier that delivers systems to the global car and truck industry, and Kongsberg Devotek, an innovative system development house, announced today a joint project to identify new business opportunities within system and product applications for future electric- and hybrid vehicles. The joint project will be facilitated by Kongsberg Innovation, a company who has strong focus on renewable energy, and who is owned by the leading industries in Kongsberg along with e.g. Statoil Hydro. The project will focus on the driveline needs of these next generation vehicles.
