Dortmunder Stadtwerke (DSW), the local utility of Dortmund, is planning a new container terminal near the freight yard in Westfalia street. According to Logistics Finland, the terminal will have a size of 120,000 to 130,000 square metres. The capacity of the current container terminal is probably fully used in 2011. The current terminal is operated by Stadtwerke subsidiary Container Terminal Dortmund GmbH. The operator of the new terminal has yet to be fixed.
