Top management of HHLA Intermodal GmbH is being reinforced by the experienced rail specialist Peter Plewa. He will be looking after all rail-related topics from 1 July.
Peter Plewa (43) starts his new assignment as Managing Director of HHLA Intermodal GmbH on 1 July. He leaves the private Polish rail logistics group CTL, where he was also Managing Director. “I am above all
interested in the intermeshing of ship, rail and truck as carriers.
Optimization of logistic chains is a challenging task,” says Plewa in explaining his move.
“Peter Plewa comes from a rail operating company and will help us to understand the needs of our rail customers and partners even better,” says a delighted Dr. Sebastian Jürgens, HHLA Executive Board member
responsible for the Intermodal and Logistics segments. “In addition, his experience in the Eastern European market is an excellent fit with the geographical focus of the intermodal companies in our portfolio.”
