Robinson returns as First GBRf strengthens commercial team

  07.09.2009

Tim Robinson has rejoined First GBRf to spearhead the development of the freight haulier’s future business strategy.
Remaining a partner at GIS, Robinson has been appointed by GBRf managing director John Smith to first build and then help implement the strategy.
Robinson’s task will be to identify business opportunities in GBRf’s current and potential markets.
“Tim’s role will be to take a high level view of the direction GBRf should be preparing to take,” said Smith. “He has wide ranging knowledge and experience and I am delighted to welcome him back.”
Robinson’s appointment strengthens the company’s commercial line up, which is headed by Neil Crossland, GBRf’s commercial director.
“Neil provides day-to-day direction to the commercial team and will continue to manage current commercial matters,” said Smith
Meanwhile, Ralph Goldney will be leaving his position as GBRf’s deputy managing director.
“I’d like to thank Ralph for the commitment he showed and the contribution he made to GBRf during his time with us and wish him all the best for the future,” said Smith.
