International Cargo Centre Shenzhen (ICCS) announced that China Airlines, Eva Air and Uni air have linked with ICCS as their ground service provider in providing physical general cargo handling and complementing with documentation handling at the Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, ICCS informs.
China Airlines currently uses B737 & B747 passenger aircrafts to operate flight services between Shenzhen and Taiwan fifth weekly. Eva Air utilizes A330 and MD 90 passenger flights of its subsidiary company – Uni Air and both parties work together to serve for travelers fourth weekly between Shenzhen and Taiwan.
According to the new “cross – strait transportation” agreement, airlines will launch regular passenger charter flights, instead of only at weekends and the four major traditional festivals. Moreover, the regular passenger charter flights are allowed to carry cargo on the bellyhold that includes direct post, mail services in terms of letters and parcels, express mail services and postal remittances.
