The Czech media revealed a list of the most profitable companies in 2008. Also the list of these firms, which recorded the biggest y-o-y drop was presented, Railway Market - CEE Review informs.
The company, which tops the list with the biggest annual decrease is Czech Railways, followed by ArcelorMittal, which was one of the most profitable firms between 2006 and 2008, and Skoda Auto.
All these three companies were seriously affected by the global downturn.
The most profitable companies in 2008 were ČEZ, involved in the energy industry, and telephone operators O2 and T-Mobile.
