Guangdong ports' aggregate container throughput fell 4.8 per cent year on year to 36.6 million TEU last year due to weak export demand, Xinhua reported.
But thanks to the rapid growth in domestic demand, coast and fuel sales have increased and general throughput has climbed 12.4 per cent to 995.4 million tonnes.
