Modification of Japan/Asia – North America West Coast Service

  05.03.2010    

“K” LINE, a member of CKYH Alliance (COSCON, “K” LINE, Yang Ming, Hanjin Shipping), will make modifications to its Japan/Asia - North America West Coast services in April 2010.
In this modification, two service loops will become joint operation with Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), a member of The New World Alliance (APL, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines), aiming at more stable and reliable service. The details of service are as follows.
 
1. PSW-3
3700-3850teu vessel x 5 (2 vessels operated by “K” LINE, 3 vessels by MOL)
Port Rotation:
Kobe (Tue/Wed) - Nagoya (Thu/Thu) - Shimizu (Fri/Fri) - Tokyo (Sat/Sat) - Long Beach/Los Angeles (Tue/Sun) - Oakland (Tue/Wed) - Tokyo (Mon/Mon) – Kobe (Tue)
Reference: Current PSW-3: 3400teu vessel x 5 (All vessels operated by “K” LINE)
Shanghai – Kobe – Yokkaichi – Nagoya – Tokyo - Long Beach – Oakland – Tokyo – Nagoya - Shanghai

2. K-PNW
5200teu vessel x 6 (5 vessels operated by “K” LINE, 1 vessel by MOL)
Port Rotation:
Xiamen (Thu/Thu) – Hong Kong (Fri/Fri) – Yantian (Sat/Sat) – Shanghai (Mon/Tue) – Nagoya (Thu/Thu) – Tokyo (Fri/Fri) – Tacoma (Sun/Wed) – Vancouver (Wed/Thu) – Tokyo (Mon/Tue) – Nagoya (Wed/Thu) – Kobe (Fri/Fri) – Kaohsiung (Mon/Mon) – Xiamen (Thu)
