ALPS (Advanced Logistics Pathfinder System) is a web-based system aimed to maximize work efficiency by improving the work process of the company’s front offices with a variety of new functions including pre-checking of dangerous cargo and unifying booking and B/L numbers and more. Also, in order to upgrade customer’s satisfaction, this new system can issue customized invoices and provide detailed information on container equipment.
In Mo Yang, Vice President at Hanjin Shipping, commented “In consideration of the complications and delicacy of shipping operations, we tried to create a system that suits the characteristics of local environment,” he added. “We are confident that APLS will improve our work efficiency and enable us to provide better service to our customers.”
Meanwhile, despite the market crisis over the past 2 years, Hanjin Shipping has invested approximately KRW 40 billion in developing company-wide IT system in order to upgrade customer service. The company will continue investing in its IT service to provide optimized service satisfying the various needs of its customers.
