CSAV Norasia has announced a new call in the Red Sea-North Europe trade lane with the addition of an eastbound arrival at Jeddah on its India-Middle East-Europe service (IMEX) from May 11, Exim News Service reports.
This will include a call on its westbound leg at Barcelona to be replaced by one at Malta Marsaxlokk, southeast Malta.
Both changes allow for connections to its Far East-West MedMare Nostrum Service (MNS), which will allow for transhipment of cargo from the Mediterranean to the Gulf and ISC discharge.
The service deploys seven 4,700-TEU class ships with a new overall transit time of 11 days.
The revised port rotation will be: Rotterdam, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Antwerp, Port Said, Jeddah, Jebel Ali, Karachi, Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Mundra, Port Said, Malta and back to Rotterdam.
