Mediterranean Shipping Co.(MSC) has announced a General Rate Increase (GRI) on the India to North Europe, UK, West and East Mediterranean and Black Sea trades.
The rates will be up by $250 per TEU, effective from May 17.
With the global economy gradually emerging out of the recession and ex-im trade looking up, the prospects for container shipping have brightened.
