Peter Wenzel, who has been the state secretary in the Ministry for Economic and Labour Affairs of the Hanseatic City of Hamburg since May 2010, has been appointed as shareholders’ member of the Supervisory
Board of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG by Hamburg County Court.
This appointment is valid until HHLA’s next Annual General Meeting. Peter Wenzel was previously head of Risk and Cash Management at Beiersdorf AG. As a Supervisory Board member, Peter Wenzel is taking the
place of Carsten Frigge, who was elected Hamburg Finance Senator on 31 March 2010 and has now resigned as a Supervisory Board member in August 2010. Previously Carsten Frigge was state secretary in the Ministry for
Economic and Labour Affairs of the Hanseatic City of Hamburg and Peter Wenzel’s predecessor in office.
