BAE Systems wins Airbus A310 remarketing mandate

BAE Systems has been awarded an exclusive mandate to remarket an Airbus A310-300 wide body airliner for sale.
The aircraft is currently on lease to S7 Airlines, Russia and will become available at the end of the year.
The aircraft is a 1989-build A301-304 model, bearing manufacturer’s serial number 520, and powered by two General Electric CF6-80 C2-A2 engines. It is equipped with 14 business class seats and 241 economy class seats.
A total of 255 Airbus A310s were manufactured and delivered between 1983 and 1998 including 170 A310-300 variants. There are just over 150 aircraft remaining in service today with 34 operators, 11 of whom have added aircraft to their fleet in the past 24 months.
Hamish Davidson, Executive Vice President of BAE Systems Asset Management said today: “We look forward to remarketing this A310 which is a new model for us, and we are confident that we will be able to secure good market interest and an eventual sale of this aircraft for the owners.”
In addition to this A310-300, BAE Systems has current mandates to remarket a further 36 aircraft on behalf of various owners worldwide.
