‘Air Cargo India 2012’ reflects Indian Air Cargo scenario

The rapid growth of international trade has boosted prospects for the air cargo market in India. Increasing globalization, establishment of manufacturing facilities, and India’s growing might in the information technology (IT) space have contributed to the boom in the country’s economy which is resulting in an increased aggregate demand from India, driving the air cargo services market.  Air cargo, trade and the gross domestic product (GDP) of a country have a direct relationship and are interdependent. Air cargo enables nations, regardless of location, to efficiently connect to distant markets and global supply chains in a speedy, reliable manner.
This scenario of increased demand for Air Cargo services to and from India is reflected in the overwhelming response to the 4th edition of International Biennial Air Cargo Event, AIR CARGO INDIA 2012, organized by STAT TIMES and scheduled to take place in Mumbai during 1-3, February, 2011 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. With about 7 months still left for the event, almost 80 % of the Exhibit  space having been sold out. As the deadline for the Early-bird rate for booking Exhibit space ends today, there has been a spurt in enquiries for the space reflecting the keen desire on the part of the players to beat the clock and secure their space in the event.
The Biennial International AIR CARGO INDIA and AIR CARGO AFRICA events, organized by STAT TIMES have acquired a world- wide reputation for the enormous networking opportunities offered to the players, quality of deliberation in the conference, promotion of excellence in Air Cargo industry and the social functions providing the much needed relief after a day’s hard work. Repeated participation by industry players has been the hall mark of these events, which goes a long way to prove its popularity in the Air Cargo sector.
