Ukraine International Airlines and S7 Airlines (the brand of Sibir Airlines) have signed a partnership agreement, as a result of which the number of daily services between Kiev and Moscow will be increased to three flights a day, providing comfortable, fast and beneficial air connections with the Russian regions.
Launching flights to Moscow (starting July 20, 2011), Ukraine International Airlines will not only link the two capitals with its own regular flights but also - through partnership with S7 Airlines - the UIA route network in Russia will be expanded significantly. The code-sharing (interline) agreement increases the number of UIA
flights between Kiev and Moscow to three flights per day, while allowing passengers access to the broad route network of S7 Airlines. An optimized schedule and connections in Moscow Domodedovo International Airport will help passengers from Ukraine to conveniently and quickly reach many regions of Russia.
Being one of the largest Russian hubs, Domodedovo International Airport provides two-way connections for UIA flights to the following destinations of S7 Airlines: Anapa, Barnaul, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhnevartovsk, Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Osh, Pavlodar, Perm, Rostov, St. Petersburg,
Semipalatinsk, Tomsk, Tyumen, Ulan Ude, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Ufa, and Chelyabinsk in Russia, Yerevan in Armenia, and Baku in Azerbaijan.
Passengers from Russia will also be able to take advantage of convenient connections, when traveling from the Russian regions to the capital of Ukraine - Kiev, and beyond, to the key cities of the UIA route network in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
"S7 Airlines have the largest network of domestic routes in Russia. Cooperation with such a powerful carrier will provide our passengers with more opportunities for comfortable air travels across Russia, - noted Evgeniya Satska, UIA Corporate Press Secretary. - We are pleased to welcome our new partner and hope that both Ukrainian passengers traveling to the regions of Russia and Russian passengers flying to Ukrainian cities will enjoy the advantages of the joint route network, created through this code-share agreement".
