Air China's cargo volume grew 4.7 per cent to 94,000 tonnes in June while its cargo capacity rose 1.5 per cent year on year, reports Xinhua.
The cargo load factor was 62.1 per cent, an increase of 1.1 per cent year on year while the passenger load factor was 83.2 per cent, up 2.9 per cent.
Air China's passenger traffic for June achieved a higher growth than the increase in capacity to 9.4 per cent. Capacity on domestic routes increased 4.4 per cent, while international routes' capacity grew 7.9 per cent.
Starting June 15, the company launched a new international flight between Beijing and Milan three times a week. And starting from June 16, the company also launched another new international flight between Chengdu and Tokyo two times a week.
