Maersk Line receives new 4,496 TEU ship
Danish flag carrier Maersk Line has received a new 4,496-TEU containership Maersk Cuanza and will deploy it on the Far East-west Africa FEW 3 string for a capacity upgrade. This new "WAF-max" vessel, delivered in late May, is the 17th of a group of 22 wide beam 4,496-TEU vessels ordered by AP Moller-Maersk Group, the parent company of Maersk Line, at Hyundai H I and Hyundai Samho in two step between June and September 2008, reported maritime analyst Alphaliner.
