Magyar Suzuki Corporation (MSC) held its yearly General Shareholders’ Meeting. The shareholders accepted the 2011 Fiscal Report of MSC. The company managed to maintain its fiscal stability and achieve the targeted production in 2011.
MSC produced 171,700 units in 2011, which is about 1% increase from the 170,031 units production in 2010. Total sales of the company were 171,499 units in 2011, including 170,447 MSC-produced vehicles and 1,052 imported models.
The 2011 performance of the company resulted in a total sales turnover of 1,581 million EUR.
The total export sales of MSC in 2011 were 168,555 units of MSC-produced vehicles, of which 61,123 units were Swift, 61,864 units SX4/Sedici and 45,568 units Splash/Agila models.
The Hungarian passenger car market generally seems to be stabilizing from the downhill tendency; however, the crisis years are still not completely behind. In 2011 1,598 Suzuki vehicles were registered in Hungary including imported vehicles, of which 665 Swift, 486 SX4 and 343 Splash models were sold.
The acquisition-based investment at MSC in Year 2011 was 11 million EUR. Total investment from the establishment of the company amounts to 1.3 billion EUR.
The annual production volume for 2012 is expected to be 170,000 units.
