Kuehne + Nagel Luxembourg receives SQAS warehouse attestation

Kuehne + Nagel Luxembourg has been awarded the Safety and Quality Assessment System (SQAS) attestation by the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC) and is setting new standards in the handling and storage of products for the chemical industry.
The assessments according to the SQAS-guidelines have been carried out by the CEFIC on behalf of Bureau Veritas Certification Germany GmbH.
The attestation is an important requirement of the chemical industry and highly appreciated by customers of this business segment. It covers a large number of health, quality, environmental and safety requirements.
The Kuehne + Nagel Luxembourg Overland Department has been SQAS TS (Transport services) attested since 2005, covering all overland and cross dock activities. By including the warehouse operations, SQAS compliance has now been extended to contract logistics activities.
