The Gujarat government has reportedly approved the development of Nargol port. To cost an estimated Rs 2,000 crore, the new multipurpose port would be located strategically on the southern tip of the state's coast. It is expected to benefit from the excess traffic at Jawaharlal Nehru Port, some of which could potentially be directed to the new facility, Exim News Service informs.
