Hong Kong's Civil Aviation Department has announced that passenger fuel surcharges levied by All Nippon Airways, Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines will be reduced in August, according to a release issued by the Government Information Service.
The new maximum fuel surcharges will be HK$219 (US$28.2) for short-haul flights and HK$973 for long-haul flights. The applicable surcharge levels will be based on the ticket issue date.
