In order to better serve growing market opportunities in Asia, UK-based aircraft management company Falko has today opened a Representative Office in Singapore.
The new office is headed up by Chief Representative Officer, Will van Zeventer, who said:
“This is a strong statement of our long-term commitment to the region which continues to report strong GDP growth and air traffic development. Prospects for the regional aircraft sector are also good with major manufacturers predicting strong demand for smaller aircraft. Also, air service liberalisation is building up, notably with new non-stop flights to secondary and third tier airports where regional aircraft are better suited to the lower and mid-density markets.”
Mr van Zeventer will carry out market research and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for Falko’s existing aircraft portfolio, as well as to study aircraft acquisition possibilities and airline fleet expansion plans that might involve future portfolio aircraft types.
Mr Raj Singh, consultant to Falko, and who is actively involved in aircraft transactions across South East Asia, will continue in this role based from his office in Auckland, New Zealand.
Mr Singh added:
“We aim to build on our current portfolio successes in the Asian market and the opening of the Singapore office will allow us to more easily make contacts with selected targets, giving us the opportunity to improve our market intelligence in the region, further increase our network of lasting relationships and to more firmly establish Falko’s name and reputation in the area.”
