Today, Ust-Luga Container Terminal (ULCT), a part of NCC group, handled the first CMA CGM call. Containership CHRISTOPHER with the capacity of 1440 TEUcame to Ust-Luga port from Hamburg and then proceeded to St Petersburg. Within the first call tothe terminal, CHRISTOPHER delivered 75 TEU.
The new schedule offers fixed fortnightly calls to ULCT as a part of FBLCservice connecting the terminal and the largest Europe’s ports – Zeebrugge, Antwerp and Hamburg.
The launch of CMA CGM service atULCT is an important milestone for the terminal’s development and for the entire container shipping sectorin the North-West Russia. Today, one more customer can take advantage of ULCT’smodern equipment, geographical locationand high service quality that allow to handle container cargos in the shortest possible time.
