IJS Global's has appointed Tim McKisson as Vice President Sales in the USA. Based at the company's Los Angeles office he becomes responsible for building and managing the sales team across the US as well as trade lane development. He joins the company from another global logistics provider and has wide experience of both route development and international sales.
Reporting jointly to US Director of International Operations, David Kettle and the company's Chief Commercial Officer, Rene de Koning, McKisson says his initial focus will be on the key trade lanes of imports from Asia, both air and ocean and Australia where IJS Global has a very strong operation.
"What attracted me to IJS Global is its size, its ability to focus on customers' individual needs and thereby giving them a level of service which is sadly lacking in so many large organisations these days. I want to be able to provide our customers with solutions which work for them at local level and where they can rely on us to provide them," says McKisson.
